Matt Crafton to retire from full-time NASCAR Truck racing, ending 25-year streak

Crafton hasn't won a Truck race since 2020, and has missed the playoffs in back-to-back seasons. Majeski currently competes in the No. 98 ThorSport truck, and no one besides Crafton has piloted the No. 88 since the 2004 season.

Three-Time NASCAR Truck Series Champ Matt Crafton to Retire After 2025 Season

The 49-year-old Crafton is wrapping up his 26th season in the No. 88 truck. He won championships in 2013, 2014 and 2019. He has 15 career wins, 135 top-five finishes and has started 585 races. Speaking to his consistency, Crafton finished in the top 10 in the Truck Series standings every year from 2007 through 2023.
