Alphabet’s Google introduced on Wednesday a new lineup of Pixel smartphones and gadgets, intensifying its efforts to embed artificial intelligence across a wide ecosystem of products. The products were launched at the annual 'Made by Google' event held in New York,

Instead, it went for buzz with paid celeb appearances, including event host Jimmy Fallon and others like Stephen Curry, podcaster Alex Cooper, the Jonas Brothers, and more. The result was a watered-down, cringey, and at times almost QVC-like sales event, which Reddit users immediately dubbed “unwatchable.”

Annual upgrades don't usually make sense — unless it's the Pixel 10. It's got so many upgrades that it tempts you to ditch the Pixel 9.

To nobody’s surprise, there’s a new Tensor G5 chip, with a 35% faster CPU, powering everything. The Pixel 10 comes with 12GB of RAM standard and two storage options (128GB and 256GB). And for the first time on any Pixel phone, there’s built-in Satellite SOS, which works more or less the same as it does on newer iPhones.

In the age of incremental phone upgrades, Google just gave the Pixel 10 a leg up over a lot of other baseline flagship smartphones.
