KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals won their fifth straight game after pulling away from the Texas Rangers late on Tuesday. In the midst of the win, Bobby Witt Jr. accomplished another milestone, hitting the 100th home run of his career to put the Royals up 5-2 and ice the game on a two-run blast.

Seth Lugo bounced back to throw a quality start, and Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino each homered in a 5-2 win over the Rangers Tuesday night. The Royals are four games over .500 for the first time since May 25 when they were 29-25.
