The Federal Trade Commission accused a shadowy group of flooding Ticketmaster with fake accounts to purchase and resell tickets to concerts by Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and other top artists.

A ticket-reselling operation used a network of fake accounts to bypass Ticketmaster’s security protocols to grab hundreds of thousands of tickets to hugely popular tours for artists like Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen and then re-sold them for millions,

The FTC sued the Maryland-based Key Investment Group LLC and its affiliates for allegedly using fraud to purchase tickets for high-profile performances, including Taylor Swift's Eras' tour last year.
