Houston officials have confirmed two tornadoes touched down during yesterday's explosive storms —both strong enough to rip apart roofs, flip vehicles, and shred power lines across densely populated neighborhoods. Preliminary damage surveys show:

At least one tornado has been confirmed in parts of Harris County, Texas. A second unconfirmed tornado may also have struck nearby.
