PORTAGE, MI — A train hit a semitrailer in Portage, blocking traffic, police said. At 9:23 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, police were called to the crash in front of 8850 Shaver Road. The train had struck the trailer of a semitruck, causing the truck and trailer to separate. The truck driver was uninjured.

REDDING, CT. (WFSB) - A Metro-North train collided with a car in Redding Tuesday evening. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said that at around 7:10 p.m., the train was traveling north of Branchville Station when it struck the vehicle, which was unoccupied. The train was scheduled to go from Grand Central Terminal to Danbury.
