Why we work on hitting during practice… Seeing live pitching helps kids work through some of the mental issues we have at the plate. (For pitchers, hitters and catchers) Mechanics can be great during drills but when they see live pitching it goes out the window. They need to be put in the live situations in order to work through them. Even if they don’t make contact they work on timing and pitch selection and it allows us coaches to give them stuff to work on at home. #softballcoach #softballpra
