This is what addiction really looks like. Not partying. Not choices. Fear. Cold. Trauma. Survival. She’s not using to feel good, she’s using to feel less pain, to stay warm, to escape the fear of sleeping outside. This is the cycle of addiction: use to survive → wake up sick → use again → repeat.
