Rain to snow showers arrive this afternoon, with mostly snowfall by around 5 to 6 PM. The light snow will continue and gradually taper off throughout the night with just some isolated flurries by Sunday morning as the winds pick up as well. 0.5 to 1" of slushy snow is expected, mainly for Madison and areas south (a dusting to 0.5" for areas north). Temperatures will drop into the 20s later tonight, so expect some slippery roads early Sunday, mainly on back roads, bridges, and overpasses. However

For today, under a mix of clouds and sun, temperatures are going to rebound into the low to mid 50s with breezy southwesterly winds. Wind gusts could be up to 25 miles per hour at times.
