Latest 12z NAM shows common thinking of most models. NE movement of future Nestor towards upper Gulf coast and Florida. Rain bands setting up in the Gulf pushing into the peninsula Saturday. Some could be strong. Timing puts it away from the SE for a sunnier Sunday. Rains then will invade the Carolinas then with maybe some nasty weather coming in off the Atlantic for the OBX and adjacent areas. NHC calling this PTC #16 right now.
