Sunshine Coast Airport has unveiled plans to transform its domestic terminal. The $170 million project will almost double the size of the building, increasing the number of departure gates from five to seven and tripling the departure lounge footprint. 18 self-service kiosks and 10 automatic bag drops will be installed. Airport Chief Executive Chris Mills said the project will strengthen the Sunshine Coast's role as a key tourism and business gateway. "This project has been shaped by community i
